Universal Studios

Here are a few pics from the day at Universal Studios. I'll be honest, I am pretty much terrified of roller coasters, but I was courageous, stood in the long lines all the while pondering about what was about to take place while flashbacks of my life went through my head, then I rode with pride! (Okay, the picture shows what 'pride' I am talking about...)I closed my eyes and screamed the whole time. Wimp, I know.

I also have this obsession with Land Before Time. I watched it ALL the time back in the day, and still own a copy of it.

This was finally the year Ev made the height requirements and was able to ride the 'big dog rides'

King Kong jumped in this pic...

Pictures just don't do justice during this Earthquake reenactment. Yet another one of my fears (did I mention there was a 4.5 earthquake while in CA this summer... that was a LONG night!). Basically I did not enjoy this 'ride' all that much. This is where the video footage would come in handy.

I am not sure if this is allowed commenting on your own blog, but since whit is our official blogger now I think I will grant myself permission.

I just wanted to comment on a moment of this trip, directly after the back to the future simulator ride. If you all could have seen Mere and Whit both, and the yellowish-green color in their faces. Lets just say we took about a 10 minute cool down on the bench immediately after.

ps-Special shout out to the Jurassic Park ride, I feel along with my Welsh ancestry, I am part T-Rex Dinosaur as well.

You don't look like you had too much fun in that first picture Whit. And Ev, GREAT pic with the short Asian guy.

I, too, noticed your tricky photography of that other guy.

I'm not much of a roller coaster fan but I do enjoy most of the rides at D-land. Steve tried to get me to go on the one that goes upside down at Cal. Adventure but that was a no go. Maybe next time we're all in So Cal (for a wedding maybe) we can hit D-land together.
